Jane E. Buchanan

Ms. Jane E. Buchanan, age 90, of 621 Berry Hill Road, South Boston, VA died Sunday, August 22, 2010 in Berry Hill Health and Rehab Center. She was born April 15, 1920 in Halifax County to the late John Richard and Eddie Austin Buchanan, and was a retired employee of Burlington Industries. Surviving are one brother, Roger Buchanan of Monroe, Va; and two sisters, Dorothy Wilmoth of Halifax, VA and Blanche Bare of Ft. Payne, AL. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, John T. "Buck" Buchanan and David Buchanan, and by one sister, Ruth Epes. Funeral services for Ms. Buchanan will be conducted Wednesday, August 25, at 1 PM in Brooks Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Clover Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday night from 7 until 8:30 PM.
