Janie Grey High Moorefield

Mrs. Janie Grey High Moorefield, 88, widow of Dallas West Moorefield, died Sunday, February 20, 2011 at her home. The daughter of Charlie and Alease High, Janie was born on April 6, 1922 in Halifax County. She was a homemaker who enjoyed raising her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved everyone and never met a stranger. Graveside funeral services will be 2PM Friday at the Clover Cemetery with the Reverend Greg Randall officiating. Mrs. Moorefield is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Bobby and Nancy Moorefield of Wichita, KS and Oscar Moorefield of Buffalo Junction; and daughter and son-in-law, Nettie and David Jenkins, also of Buffalo Junction. She was preceded in death by her sons, Harry Al and Carter Trent Moorefield, and grandson, Wayne Moorefield.
