Janie Allgood Meade

Janie Sue Allgood Meade, 85, widow of Berkley Walter Meade, died Wednesday, August 22, 2007 in South Boston. Born and reared in the Easters Community, Janie was a homemaker and had lived in Chase City all of her adult life. She was the daughter of William Allen and Bessie Reamey Allgood. Graveside services will be 11 AM Friday at Easters United Methodist Church, of which she was a member, with burial in the church cemetery. Surviving Mrs. Meade are daughter, Ruth Meade Pulliam of Skipwith and grandsons, Bruce and Benjamin Pulliam. The family will receive friends prior to the graveside service.
