Jean Mary Lynch O?Toole, B.A.; M.S.; of Red Oak, VA and Redington Shores, FL, was born in Worcester, MA; attended Clark University and NOVA University; listed in ?Who?s Who Among Women in Colleges and Universities? in 1951 died Sunday, June 17, 2007 at her Red Oak, VA home. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Captain Charles S. O?Toole, Jr. USNR Ret and children, Kathleen A. O?Toole Stock; Charles S. O?Toole, III, John K. O?Toole, Erin M. O?Toole Shimer and Margaret M. O?Toole Bass. Also surviving are seven grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Jean was an educator, having taught school at all levels from grade 2 through 12 over a 40 year period in Shrewsburg, MA; Norfolk, VA; Miami, FL and Reston, VA. She was active in church and youth activities at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Miami; St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Clarksville and St. Jerome Catholic Church, in Largo, FL. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at St. Jerome Catholic Church, Largo, FL with burial to follow at the National Cemetery at Bay Pines, FL. Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home is serving the O?Toole family.
