Jeanne Mae Mcginn Wilson

Mrs. Jeanne Mae McGinn Wilson passed November 12, 2011 and went to be with the Lord, whom she believed in deeply, after a hard fought two year battle with cancer. She has been a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Danville, VA for the last twenty-eight years. She was born in Newark, New Jersey on January 11, 1938. She is survived by her loving husband of fifty-five years, Frank E. Wilson, who remains at their residence in the Meadville District of Halifax County, VA. She leaves behind their three daughters, seven grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. They are Cindy Lynn Wilson Arthur and her husband Robert, two sons and one granddaughter. They live in Hampton, VA; Franke Lee Wilson Weintz and husband Kevin, one daughter, two sons, and two grandsons. They live in Reno, Nevada; Jeanne Mae Wilson Jaffe and husband Gary, one daughter and one son. They live in Williamsburg, VA. Jeanne also has two sisters and one brother she leaves behind and they are: Diane Theresa McGinn Carpenter and husband Tom of Roxboro, NC; Violet Marlene McGinn Baker and husband James of Norfolk, VA; Frank Michael Berry and wife Vicki of Semora, NC. Funeral services will be held Monday, November 14, 2011 at 1 PM in Brooks Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Halifax Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Brooks Funeral Home Sunday night from 6 until 8 PM. Following the service on Monday, a Repass will be held at the home of Tom & Diane Carpenter, 2794 High Plains Road, Roxboro, NC.
