Jeffrey Lynn Bagby

Jeffrey Lynn Bagby of Virgilina passed away at his home on Sunday, February 11, 2024.  He was born in Halifax County on February 4, 1961 to Lawrence Bagby and the late Ella Long Williams.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Gina Talbott Bagby.

Jeff was a roofer and worked in construction.  He had a love for classic cars, racing, Harley Davidsons and animals.

He is survived by daughters, Misty Bagby (Ross) and Megan Robinson (Trey); grandchildren, Tyler Martin, Bryson Martin, Sadie Robinson, River Robinson and Whitt Shepard; and a sister, Denise Bennett (John).

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, O.D. "Buddy" Long, Bernice Long, Herman Bagbey and Delma Bagbey.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, February 18, 2024 at Florence Avenue Baptist Church in Virgilina with Reverend Norman Talley officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, 2 PM - 3 PM at Florence Avenue Baptist Church and other times at his home.
