Jeffrey Alan Hudson

CLOVER Mr. Jeffrey Alan Hudson, Sr. passed away at Duke Hospital on Thursday, January 13, 2022.He was born in Halifax County on July 27, 1958 to the late Jefferson and Ruth Bray Hudson and was married to Florence “Aline” Martin Hudson who survives. Jeff was employed as a contractor with Dominion Power for over twenty years and previously at JP Stevens. He was an avid outdoorsman and hunter. He loved sports, having coached Dixie Youth baseball and Pee Wee football and basketball. He was also the head of the bowling league while employed at JP Stevens. His favorite sports team was the Dallas Cowboys. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. In addition to his wife Florence, he is survived by sons, Jeff Hudson, Jr (Lisa) of Alabama, and Joshua Hudson (Savannah) of South Boston; grandchildren, Zach, Sarah, Rachel, and Summer Hudson; sisters, Debbie Wheeler, Gail Hudson and Cindy Mullins and several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Barry Hudson. The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 20, 2022 from 6-8 PM at Brooks Lyon Funeral Home.
