Jerry James Van Eimeren

SOUTH BOSTON,VA Jerry James Van Eimeren, age 66 of South Boston, passed away Saturday, April 1, 2017, at UVA Medical Center.He was born April 9, 1950 in Fon du Lac, Wisconsin, to the late Clifford and Ruth Van Eimeren of Fon du Lac, Wisconsin. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Wendy Stevens Van Eimeren of South Boston; his brothers, Tom Van Eimeren and wife Dottie of St. Augustine, Florida,Bob Van Eimeren and husband Don of Lake Worth, Florida; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Betty Jane and Lloyd Dixon of Virgilina; brother-in-law, Wayne S. Stevens of South Boston; sister-in-law, Martha Stevens of South Boston; his nephews, Michael Dixon and Travis Stevens of South Boston; nieces, Tammie Ankrum of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Tracie Van Eimeren Liston and Tiffanie Van Eimeren of Scottsdale, Arizona and numerous great nieces and nephews; special friends, Joel and Patty Mason of Hampstead, Maryland, Chad and Sara Lloyd of Oxford, North Carolina, and Jimmy and Kim Powell of Richmond, Virginia and his special dog, Charley. A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 2:00 PM with visitation one hour prior to the service at Brooks Lyon Betty B. Jones Chapel with Reverend Kevin Begley officiating. There will be special memories shared by Joel Mason and Gene Haugh. The family will also be receiving friends at the home, 921 Marshall Avenue, South Boston. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
