Jesse Thomas James

Jesse Thomas James, 77, widower of Ruth Seate James, died Wednesday May 11, 2005 at Halifax Regional Hospital. Robert was born to the late Bev & Mary Hall James and a native of Rougemont, NC. He was a member of the Nelson Baptist Church. Mr. James worked for many years at Burlington Ind. and later for Collins & Aikman retiring from there. Funeral services will be 11 am Saturday at Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home with Rev. Jim McAlister officiating. Interment will be at the Nelson Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. James is survived by a son & daughter-in-law, Kimball & Mary V. James of Nelson, a brother, Thomas James of Roxboro, NC, and a grandson, Jerome James of Goldsboro, NC.
