Richmond, VA - Jimmie Berry Elliott, 86, passed October 9, 2017.He is preceded in death by his son Johnnie E. Elliott.Survived by his loving wife of 26 years Ellen Louise Elliott and sister-in-law Elsie Gantt, his daughters Elaine E. LaMaster, Donna E. Pruden, grandchildren Renee Mays (Viktor), Chris Pruden, Josh Pruden (Nicole), Charlotte LaMaster, Jasmine Elliott, great grandchildren Marshall, Johnnie, Hallie, Evey, step great grandchildren Kayla, John, Abbey; and his sisters Rose Whitt (Crowder) and Patsie Parker (Hank). Jimmie spent 20 years in the US Air Force.He was extremely proud of his military service.After the military he worked 22 years at the Defense General Supply Center where he retired in 1996.Jimmie’s favorite things to do were square dancing, working on his farm, and fishing. The family will receive viewing at Bliley’s Funeral Home Chippenham Location, 6900 Hull Street Road from 6-8 PM on Wednesday, October 11 and at Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home 703 Virginia Avenue in Clarksville from 1 – 2 PM on Thursday, October 12.Funeral services will begin at 2 PM on Thursday in Watkins Cooper Lyon Chapel with burial at Nelson Baptist Church Cemetery. Pastor Tony Kohout of Buford Road Baptist will officiate.
