Garysburg, NC Jimmy Lee Allen, age 68, died on Friday, January 15, 2016.He was born on June 7, 1947 to the late William Benjamin Allen and Lillie Mills Allen. Mr. Allen served his country in the United States Army.He was owner-operator of Jim’s Auto Restoration in Garysburg, NC; he loved working on cars and enjoyed drag racing.Jimmy’s life revolved around caring for his disabled special needs son. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 21, 2016 from 6 to 8 p.m. with a Remembrance service at 7 p.m. at Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home. Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Sandra Jenkins Allen and his sister, Pattie A. Pulliam. He is survived by his son, Johnny V. Allen and by sisters and brother in law, Joyce and Steve Lavagnino of Chase City, VA and Sheila Runyon of Clearmont, FL.
