Jimmy Allen Hand

Jimmy Allen Hand of Chase City, VA, passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2022, at the age of 64. He was born on November 26, 1957, in Norfolk, VA, to the late Kyle J. and Verna Rollins Hand. Jimmy worked for many years at the Norfolk Ford truck plant in addition to being a lifelong carpenter. He enjoyed coaching baseball, spending time in the Outer Banks and was an avid gun collector and NRA member. Jimmy never met a stranger and was always willing to help a friend in need.

He is survived by his children, Kandace Hanna (Joshua) of Chesapeake, VA, and Jason Hand (Paige) of Clayton, NC and by his beloved grandchildren, Autumn, Jessi, Kyle, Brianna, Faith and Shane. Jimmy is further survived by his devoted partner, Tracie James. In addition to his parents, Jimmy was preceded in death by a brother, Donnie Hand.
