John Moses Blair

Clarksville, VA -- Mr. John Moses Blair, beloved husband of Carolyn Osborne Blair, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 27, 2021, at the age of 74. He was born in Pittsylvania County, VA on August 26, 1946, the son of the late Garry Wyatt Blair and the late Lena DeBoe Blair. John was a retired industrial sales manager and enjoyed playing golf, woodworking, and gardening. He was a member at Gravel Hill Baptist Church. John is survived by his wife of 56 years, Carole; as well as a son, Robert; daughter, Lisa; grandchildren, Cory, Daniel, Ashton, Erin, Colin, Trevor and Ian and great-grandchildren, Wesley and Lawson. He is also survived by his brothers, Garry II, Ralph and Tom; sister, Susan and a host of other family and friends. He was preceded in death by a son, John Monroe Blair; sister, Dianne Gates and brother, Barry Blair. A Memorial Service will be held at 1 P.M. on Saturday, January 30 in the chapel at Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home. The Reverend Joey Tucker will officiate.
