John Earl Hazelwood

CLOVER, VA Mr. John “Earl” Hazelwood of Newbill School Road, Clover, passed away on Sunday, February 3, 2019 at the age of 67.Born in Clover, VA on March 3, 1951, he was the son of the late John Hazelwood and the late Virginia Foley Hazelwood. He was a devoted husband to Katherine “Boots” Hazelwood. John loved God and telling people about the Lord. He was a former truck driver and he loved fishing. In addition to his wife, “Boots,” he is survived by a daughter, Chelsey Malone and husband, Michael; son, Jacob Hazelwood; grandson, Coy Malone; brother, Ralph Hazelwood and wife, Audrey of Stanleytown, VA; sisters, Dorothy Foley and husband, Winford of Spencer, VA, and Brenda Bower of Matthews, NC; aunts, Hazel Hall of Bassett, VA and Patty Stallings and husband Winfred of South Boston; brother in law, Eugene Martin and wife, Lilly; sister in law, Texie Snead and numerous family members. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
