John Randall "Randy" Shelton

Mr. John Randall "Randy" Shelton of Buffalo Junction, VA died Monday, May 9, 2016 at the age of 61. He was born in Halifax Co., VA on March 11, 1955 to the late Charlie Dudley Shelton and the late Stella New Shelton. Randy was a dental lab technician. He was a 1973 graduate of Halifax Co. Senior High School. Mr. Shelton is survived by two sisters, Joyce Thomas of Cluster Springs and Brenda Throckmorton of South Boston; two brothers, Chucky Cook of South Boston and Tim Shelton of Cluster Springs; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Michael Shelton, and a sister, Gloria Jones. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 13, 2016 at 2:00 PM at the Brooks Lyon Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Norman Talley officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Brooks Lyon Funeral Home for one hour prior to the service on Friday and at other times at the home of Joyce Thomas, 2006 Cluster Springs Rd., Cluster Springs.
