John Marshall "Johnny" Turner

John Marshall "Johnny" Turner of Warrenton, VA. and formerly of Clover, VA. passed away on Friday, November 17, 2023 at the age of 76.  He was born in Halifax County on October 24, 1947 to the late A.C. Turner, Jr and the late Eva Dell Dyches Turner.  In addition he was preceded in death by his wife, Deanna Davis Turner and a  brother, Charles Donald Turner.

Johnny was a graduate of Virginia Tech, Class of 1971.  He was co-owner of Blanks and Dyches Plumbing & Electric.  He enjoyed motorcycles, boating, traveling, and was a Civil War buff. Johnny was a member of Clover Baptist Church, Clover, VA.

He is survived by a nephew, Michael Turner and wife Kathy; great nieces, Sarah Turner, Melanie Turner and Ally Hinshaw; sister-in-law, Carolyn Turner and a number of cousins.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at Brooks Lyon Funeral Home from 3 PM - 5 PM.

Burial will be private.
