John Harry Walker, 92, widower of Nona Radler Walker, passed away Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at Johnston-Willis Hospital in Richmond. He was born in Spencer, NC on April 15, 1922. John served his country in the United States Army during World War II; and was retired from the Chesapeake and Potomac Telephone Company with 40 plus years service. He was a member of Clarksville Baptist Church where he had served on the Deacon Board. Memorial services will be held at Clarksville Baptist Church at 11 AM on Friday with the Reverend Dr. Greg Randall officiating. Interment will be in Williamsburg Memorial Park. Mr. Walker is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Judy Lynn and Bruce Bloomquest of Powhatan and son and daughter-in-law, Jay Charles and Anne Walker of Springfield. His four grandchildren, Chris McIndoe, Katie Thompson, Joshua Walker and Emily Walker Dugan and three great grandchildren also survive.
