Johnny Terry

VERNON HILL Mr. Johnny Terry, Sr. passed away on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at the age of 67. Born in Wise County, VA, he was the son of William Terry and Eva Dorton and was married to Emma Jean Terry. Johnny was an avid golf player, loving the sport. He was a very hard worker, could do anything, super person. He was a truck driver with Warner Trucking. In addition to his wife of the home, he is survived by children, Johnny Terry, Jr and Lisa of Indiana, Regina Nieto and Manuel of Oklahoma, Tonya Patterson and Jason of Indiana, Joshua Terry and Kiersten of Jacksonville NC, and Melissa Snead of Scottsburg; brother, Charles Terry; 16 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; step-children, Kim Bailess and Kelly Bailess; nephew, James "Lucky" Terry and numerous other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Jeremiah Terry; step-son, Chris Bailess; brothers, Jimmy Terry and William Terry and a sister; Deanna Butler. A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, June 20, 2021 atPleasant Grove Christian Church Cemetery.
