Joseph Glenn Snyder

Joseph "Glenn" Snyder III, 62, passed unexpectedly at his home in Clarksville, on September 30, 2011. Glenn was born on January 11, 1949 in his hometown of Baltimore, MD, son of the late Joseph Glenn Jr. and his beloved mother Geraldine Snyder. Glenn proudly served his country for 20 years in the Navy and he became a successful real estate agent, spending most of his adult life raising his family in Virginia Beach. He was also a driver for Airborne Express, then later for DHL. Glenn is survived by his wife of 41 years, Norma "Jean" Snyder of Virginia Beach. He is also survived by his brother Wayne Snyder, four beloved children, Stacey Snyder, Jason Snyder, Derrick Snyder, Lindsey Snyder, and six beautiful grandchildren Ashlynn Garcia, Brendin Snyder, Sophie and Avory Sherwood, Breanna and Bailey Snyder. He leaves behind many cherished friends. Services will be held in Virginia Beach at a later date.
