Joyce Long Conner

Ms. Joyce Long Conner of 2038 Bold Springs Rd., South Boston, VA died Sunday, December 4, 2011 at the age of 71. She was born on August 14, 1940 to the late Johnie Matt Long and the late Lucille Lowery Long. Ms. Conner was a retired beautician and was a member of Black Walnut Baptist Church. Survivors include a son, Chad Willard Lowery of South Boston, VA; a daughter, Natalie Michelle Lowery of Bristol, VA; and a brother, Bernice G. Long and wife, Nancy of South Boston, VA. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Johnnie Mac Long. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Black Walnut Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Raymond Wooten officiating.
