Juanita Belle Hensley

Juanita Belle Hensley passed away, Tuesday, April 10, 2007 in Clarksville. She was born in Benton County, Arkansas on January 10, 1915 to Ray Edward and Grace Sarah Wilkerson Hasty and lived most of her young life in the Arkansas and Oklahoma area. In 1979, she moved to Virginia and in 1983 she moved to the Clarksville area. Juanita was a member of the Gravel Hill Baptist Church. On August 14, 1931 she became the bride of Clyde Albertis Hensley in Pryor, Oklahoma. To this couple were born 5 children, 20 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren and 16 great great grandchildren. Surviving children include two sons, Kenneth Hensley and wife Pat of Clarksville; and Richard Hensley of Miami, Oklahoma; two daughters, Evelyn Graham of Bolivar, Missouri and Anita Mitchell and husband Jim of Virginia Beach; one son-in-law, Arthur Conner of Miami Oklahoma. Also surviving are one sister, Shirley Hasty of Marysville, Washington and one brother-in-law, Tommy O?Donnell of Everette, Washington. She was preceded in death by her husband Clyde Hensley; daughter, Virginia Lee Conner, son-in-law, Michael Graham; her parents; brother, Jack Hasty; sister Mabel O?Donnell; 5 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter. The family will receive friends Wednesday, from 10AM until 11:30 AM at Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home. The family will also receive friends Saturday from 10AM until 11:30 AM at the Ozark Funeral Home, Southwest City, MO. Pallbearers will be grandsons and great grandsons: Kevin Hensley, Keith Graham, Patrick Graham, DeWayne Conner, Lee Hensley, Mark Hensley, James Mitchell, Jeremy Graham, Nickolas Jones and Brian Jones, Jr. Honorary pallbearers are granddaughters: Rhonda Parsons, Tina Dunham, Teresa Jones and Amber-Leigh Mitchell. Grandhildren unable to attend are: Rick Hensley, Donna Peters, Marian Corpus, and Dan Hensley. Closed casket services and burial will be held at Southwest City Cemetery, Southwest City, Missouri, Saturday at 2PM with Patrick Graham officiating. In lieu of flowers, please consider a charity of your choice in her memory.
