Judith Hartmann Degrandcourt

Clarksville, VA – Judith Hartmann deGrandcourt, wife of Robert F. deGrandcourt, Sr., passed away on Saturday, December 11, 2021, at the age of 81. She was born in Chicago, IL on February 5, 1940, to the late Mildred Forbes Hartmann and the late Eric Carl Hartmann. Judith was a patriotic woman that enjoyed a simple life style. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Judith cherished time spent with family and friends and loved antiques and chocolate. Cherishing her memory are her husband, Robert; son, Robert F. deGrandcourt, Jr.; grandchildren, Bridget deGrandcourt, Tyler deGrandcourt, Katelyn J. deGrandcourt and Eric Carl deGrandcourt; great grandchildren, Jane and Franklin; siblings, Eric C. Hartmann and Sandra J. Balfour, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Judith was preceded in death by her son, Eric Peck deGrandcourt. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, December 18, 2021 in the chapel of Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home, 703 Virginia Ave., Clarksville, VA.
