Julia Paschall Capps

Clarksville, VA - Julia “Judy” Paschall Capps, widow of John Weldon Capps, passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at the age of 86.She was born in Warren County, NC on May 9, 1930 to the late Cassie Faulkner and Charlie Price Paschall.Judy worked at Burlington Industries for 48 years before her retirement in 1997.Her last job assignment was a floor leader in the Burling & Mending department.She was a member of the Woodmen of the World and also a member of Clarksville Baptist Church. Mrs. Capps is survived by sisters, Mamie Wilkins of Stem, NC, Pannie Kirchmier of Clarksville, VA and Faye Anderson of Hampstead, NC and a brother, Ray Paschall of Richmond, VA.Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 15, 2017 in the chapel at Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home, 703 Virginia Avenue, Clarksville, VA with burial to follow at Oakhurst Cemetery.The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
