Julia Coghill Seay

Mrs. Julia Coghill Seay, 88, wife of Frank Daniel "Danny" Seay, passed away Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at Halifax Regional Hospital. Julia was born March 30, 1924 to the late Baily F. and Pearl Frances Matthews Coghill. She was employed with Burlington Industries and retired from Russell Stover Candy Corporation. Her passion was as an artist, using acrylics, oils and pastels. She was also an accomplished seamstress. A charter member of Buffalo Baptist Tabernacle, funeral services will be held there Saturday at 2PM with the Reverend Billy Coghill officiating. In addition to her husband of 39 years, Mrs. Seay is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Vivian and John Tuck of Buffalo Junction, sons and daughters-in-law, George and Juanita Gordon of LaCrosse and Rex and Donna Gordon of Nelson. Julia's five grandchildren, two great grandchildren, brother, Reverend Billy Hoover Coghill of Buffalo Junction, and sisters, Frances Glasscock of Clarksville and Barbara Jean Beck of Danville also survive. The family will receive friends 7-8:30PM Friday at Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home.
