June Gossip Joyner

June Joyner, 71 of Gasburg,VA (formerly Kilmarnock,VA) passed away October 10, 2022 surrounded by her loving family after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She is remembered as a loving mom, "Gran”, sister, aunt and friend.

June had a long standing career in dental administration. She enjoyed crafting, Hallmark movies and most of all, time spent with family, at her little piece of Paradise on Lake Gaston.

June was preceded in death by her parents, James and Eileen Gossip and her husband, Gene. She will be sorely missed by her daughters Jill Shipman (Tom) and Jenna Dukes (Scott); her grandchildren Brooke, Brynne, Casen and Emersen; siblings Lynn Bonner (Steve), James Gossip (Judy) and Joy Saunders (Jeffrey) as well as her beloved nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to thank her devoted friends and neighbors for being by her side during her journey.
