SOUTH BOSTON Mrs. Karen Lee Durisko Durand of South Boston passed away on Sunday, September 12, 2021 at the age of 72.Born in Detroit, Michigan on January 1, 1949 she was the daughter of the lateAndrew and Emma Suomi Durisko and was married to Robert Gene Durand. Karen enjoyed traveling, time spent with her grandchildren and working jigsaw puzzles. She was employed in accounting with Pacific Industrial Supply. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Thomas, Dale, Kristy and Heather; grandchildren, Kourtney, Christopher, Kyle, Desiree, Andrena, Kayla and Brooklynn; great grandchildren, Abigail and Carson; sister, Dolores Martinez and lifetime friend, Julie Rice.She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Suzie.
