Karen Blanks Ware

Karen Blanks Ware, 49, died on Saturday, April 4, 2015. Karen was born April 20, 1965 to Keister Boyd and Eleanor Crowder Blanks in Roanoke. She graduated from Bluestone High School in 1983 and was a member at Gravel Hill Baptist Church. Karen resided in Powhatan with her husband Wayne since 2005 and worked in the auto industry as a consultant. Karen was very knowledgeable in the auto industry and was the former General Manager of Saturn of West Broad Street, Richmond. Mrs. Ware is survived by her husband, Donald “Wayne” Ware; son, Christopher Todd Gordon of Powhatan; mother, Eleanor Crowder Blanks of Clarksville; brother and sister-in-law, Stanley and Mandy Blanks of Chester; nephews, Justin Blanks and Daniel Blanks of Chester. Visitation for friends and family will be held on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.Funeral services will be held at Gravel hill Baptist Church on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. officiated by the Reverend Joey Tucker.Interment will follow immediately after the service at Gravel Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
