Katherine Terry Hite

Clarksville, VA Katherine Terry Hite, widow of James Allen Hite, passed away on June 1, 2017 at the age of 96. She was born in Halifax County on October 19, 1920 to the late Mary Katherine Jordan Terry and the late Nathaniel Green Terry. Mrs. Hite was a 1938 graduate of Clarksville High.She worked with Burlington Industries for four years and then at Glover’s Pharmacy for 19 years before retiring.Mrs. Hite was a member of Clarksville Baptist Church. Mrs. Katherine Hite is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Terry Allen and Betty Hite; daughter and son-in-law, Mary Lee and Paul Fuller; grandchildren, Michael Hite (Angie), Tonya Hite, Paula Allgood (Kevin), Danielle Byington (Joe), and Greg Fuller (Beth); great-grandchildren, Paige Hite, Nathan Hite, Bentley Hite, Landon Allgood, Garrett Allgood, Kade Byington, Bracken Byington and Krissy Fuller. Visitation will be held from 7 – 8:30 pm on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home.Funeral services will be at 2 pm on Sunday, June 4 at Clarksville Baptist Church with entombment to follow at Eternity Mausoleum in Oakhurst Cemetery. The Reverends Rodney Barwick and Joey Tucker will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Mecklenburg County Life Saving & Rescue, P.O.
