Katherine O'Geary Morris

Mrs. Katherine O'Geary "Billie" Morris, 73, wife of Gerald Garner Morris, died Monday, June 15, 2009 at her home. Daughter of the late James Randolph and Nannie Bowen O'Geary, Katherine was a homemaker. Funeral services will be 2PM Wednesday at Union Christian Church, of which she was a member, with the Reverends Jimmy Pulliam and Bob Watts officiating. Interment will follow at Virgilina Cemetery. In addition to her husband, Katherine is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Von Gravitt; sons and daughters-in-law, Dennis and Jamie Morris and Randy and Karen Morris; and sisters and brothers-in-law, Donna and Larry Seate and Linda and Bill Coghill, all of Virgilina. Grandchildren, Mark Gravitt, Christina Gravitt, Michael Gravitt, Tyler Gravitt, Brian Morris, Kyle Morris, Kasey Morris, Miles Morris, and great grandchildren, Jesse Seamons, Cheyenne Morris, Makala Morris, Blake Gravitt, Paige Gravitt and Jacob Gravitt also survive. She was preceded in death by a brother, Andy Rudolph O'Geary. The family will receive friends 7-9PM Tuesday at Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home. Contributions may be made to Union Christion Church.
