Richmond, VA - Kathryn Edgerton Madison, 80, passed away Thursday, June 22, 2017 in Richmond, Virginia.She was born April 18, 1937, in Chase City, Virginia to Frank and Edna McCall Edgerton.Kathryn spent most of her adult life in Richmond, Virginia, where she met and married Lewis Madison, her husband of 57 years.Kathryn was a supervisor for Bell Telephone Company.She never met a stranger and was a joy to all who knew her.She loved her family and friends and especially enjoyed and looked forward to family gatherings. She is survived by her husband, Lewis Madison; one son, Jim Madison and his wife Dondi; four grandchildren, Shelby, Lindsey, Bradley, and Brandon, and one sister Patricia Ryan and husband Chuck Ryan.She is predeceased by her parents and her brother, Norris Edgerton, and his wife, Barbara. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to her caregivers in Clarksville and Richmond, Virginia, and especially her best friend and neighbor Beverly Hite.A celebration of Kathryn's life will be held at Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home at 2:00 pm on Saturday June 24th.
