Keith Wilson Morris

Mr. Keith Wilson Morris went home to be with the Lord on Sunday evening, December 22, 2013. He was at his home. Mr. Morris was born on April 15, 1921 and was 92 years old. He was a WWII veteran. Mr. Morris is survived by his wife of 71 years, Mary Clark Morris. He is also survived by their 3 children: Ernest Morris & wife, Sylvia, Linda Morris Green, and Wayne Morris & wife, Linda, all of South Boston. Survivors also include 3 grandchildren: Donna Green Hall, Keith Wayne Morris, Jr. & wife, Kristie, of South Boston, and Jeff Morris & wife, Annette of Chatham. Mr. Morris also had 8 great grandchildren: Amber Clark, Destiney Hall, Hayley, Savannah, Kayleigh, Kendra, Kolby, & Keegan Morris. He also has a number of nieces and nephews. Mr. Morris was preceded in death by his mother, Sally Ann Lipford and his step father, Wilson Lipford. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Lois Davis and one son-in-law, Carlton Wayne "Bill" Green. The family will receive friends and other visitors at Brooks Funeral Home in South Boston on Thursday, December 26, 2013 from 7:00 PM until 8:30 PM. Funeral services will be held at Brooks Funeral Home on Friday, December 27, 2013 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Don Bryant and Rev. Raymond Wooten presiding. Burial will follow at Black Walnut Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to a charity of your choice.
