Kenneth Tyler Hancock

SOUTH BOSTON, VA Mr. Kenneth Tyler Hancock passed away Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at the age of 52. He was born October 5, 1964 in Halifax County the son of Janie Scott and the late Johnny Hancock. He is survived by his mother; life companion, Tammy Wade; sisters, Denise Hancock of Red Oak and Linda Guill of Mebane, NC; brothers, Darrell Scott of Red Oak, Kevin Murray of South Boston, and Tee Moorefield of South Boston;step children, Tiffany Wade and Jeremy Wade; sister in law, Lisa Becker; step grandchildren, Krysten Hailey, Bobbie Lynn Wade, Brennan Wade and Olivia Adams; nieces, Alicia Tatum, Emily Murray, Megan Murray, Crystal Hancock, and Kimberly Hancock; and nephews, Cody Toombs, Tyler Murray, Caleb Philpott, and Derek Hancock. He was preceded in death by his father and one brother, John Lewis Hancock. A Celebration of Life for Mr. Hancock will be Monday, September 25, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the Brooks Lyon Betty B. Jones Chapel. The family will be receiving friends Sunday afternoon, September 24, 2017 at the residence of 631 Berry Hill Road, South Boston, VA.
