CLOVER, VA. Mr. Kenneth Wayne Wilmoth, Sr. of Clover, VA died Thursday, February, 25, 2016 at the age of 78.He was born in Halifax County on October 15, 1937 to the late John Tyree Wilmoth and the late Maggie Hardy Wilmoth.He was married to Carolyn Williams Wilmoth for 49 years. Highlights of Kenneth’s life were watching his grandson, Adam, play baseball as well as riding the gator with his granddaughter, Anna.He loved being outdoors working on his farm. Survivors include his wife, Carolyn; a daughter, Teresa W. Seamster and husband Bruce of Clover, VA; a son, Kenneth Wilmoth, Jr. of Whitsett, NC; grandchildren Adam and Anna; sisters, Faye W. Martin of Clover, VA, Velma Phillips of Halifax,VA, Elaine Pettry of Lynchburg, VA; a brother, David Wilmoth of Clover, VA; and several nieces and nephews, including Holly and Matthew Cassada. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Loretta Ann Cassada and a brother, Hodges Hagood Wilmoth. Funeral services for Mr. Wilmoth will be Sunday, February 28, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Brooks Lyon Funeral Home Chapel with The Reverend Ron Rhew officiating. Burial will follow in the Clover Cemetery, Clover, VA. The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 27, 2016 from 7-8:30 PM at Brooks Lyon Funeral Home.
