Kitty Wilkinson Anderson

Mrs. Kitty Wilkinson Anderson of 5215 James D. Hagood Hwy., South Boston, VA died Friday, February 10, 2012 at the age of 81. She was born in Halifax Co., VA on June 5, 1930 to the late Charles Howard Wilkinson, Sr. and the late Elsie Hazel Baker Wilkinson and was married to the late Isaac Carson Anderson, Sr.. Mrs. Anderson was owner/operator of Crossroads Shell and was a member of First Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons, Isaac Carson Anderson, Jr. and Anthony David Anderson, Sr. of Scottsburg, VA; a daughter, Angelique Moore of Mechanicsville, VA; five grandchildren, Anthony David Anderson, Jr., Alyssa Moore, Jordan Anderson, Nicholas Anderson, and Avery Anderson; and two great grandchildren, Ashton Anderson and Ethan Anderson. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and a brother, Charles Howard Wilkinson, Jr.. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Brooks Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dave Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Brooks Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 14, 2012 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM and at other times at the home of Tony Anderson, 404 Powell Rd., South Boston.
