Larry Michael "Mickey" Rowe

Mr. Larry Michael “ Mickey” Rowe, Sr. of Fries, VA died on Friday, August 16, 2013 at the age of 69. He was born in Chattanooga, TN on July 20, 1944 to the late Earnest C. Rowe and the late Louise Barton Rowe. Mr. Rowe was a former contractor, a veteran of the U.S. Army, and was of the Pentecostal Holiness faith. He is survived by a son, L. Michael “Mike” Rowe, Jr and his wife Nancy Collins Rowe of Clarksville, VA; granddaughter Victoria Rowe; sister, Peggy Lou Morris of Akron, OH; his caregiver, Aunt Betty Peake of Fries, VA Other survivors: Karla B. Rowe of South Boston and Jenny May Sisk of Kingsport, TN., J. R & JoAnne Burnett and Aunts; Jane Neill, Wanda Vaughan, Joyce Goad, Barbara Patton, and Patty Shifflett. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 18, 2013 at 3:00 PM at Brooks Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Roger F. Collins officiating. Burial will follow in Halifax Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Brooks Funeral Home on Sunday, August 18, 2013 from 1:30 PM until 2:30 PM and other times at the home of Karla B. Rowe, 1097 Seven Oaks Drive, South Boston, VA.
