Laura Ann Seamons

Laura "Ann" Seamons of Clarksville, VA passed away on Sunday October 20, 2024 at the Chippenham Hospital in Richmond, VA after a year battle with Lymphoma. Ann was born November 30, 1965, in South Boston, VA to the late Frank Seamons and Laura C Seamons.

In addition she is proceeded in death  by her sister Tammie Rice, whom she loved dearly.

Ann worked as a Deputy Clerk for the State of North Carolina, she spent 14 years serving in Durham and then one year in Henderson before becoming sick with cancer. She loved to cook and always had a smile on her face.  So many people enjoyed Ann's presence, her kindness and warmth touched the lives of many. She will truly be missed.

She is survived by one son; Charles Lane Meadows, mother; Laura C. Seamons, nephew; C.J Rice, brother-in law; Keith Rice, special friends; Patsy Meadows and Wendy Powell.
In addition the family would like to send a special thank you to Patsy and Wendy for all of the day trips taking her back and forth to the hospital for her treatments and office visits.

A memorial service will be held at 1pm on Friday, October 25th, at Watkins Cooper Lyon Chapel with Pastor Ian Rigney officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior beginning at 12pm and other times at the home.
