Lawrence Everett Easter, Jr.

Lawrence Everett Easter, Jr., 82, husband of Lorraine Burdick Easter, died Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at MeadowView Terrace in Clarksville. Born May 5, 1927 in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of Lawrence E., Sr. and Helen Allen Easter. Larry was a graduate of Dobbins Technical School and Whorton College. Moving to Clarksville in 1965, he worked for 45 plus years with Burlington Industries, serving as Executive Vice President of Burlington Industries Wool Company. He then operated Larry Easter Wool Company for several years. Funeral services will be 11 am Friday in the chapel at Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home with the Reverend Jane Lyon officiating. Interment will follow at Oakhurst Cemetery. In addition to his wife of 61 years, Mr. Easter is survived by his son, Lawrence Everett Easter, III of Charlotte, NC and daughter, Cyndie E. Lundberg of Holdenville, OK. His sister, Jane Bauder of Florida; grandchildren, Joanna Easter, Adam Lynch, Jacob Lynch, Kelly Parham, and Jonathan Easter; and four great grandchildren also survive. The family will receive friends 7-8:30 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
