Lawrence Bruce Williamson

Sanford, NC Lawrence Bruce Williamson, 84, died Friday, September 15, 2006 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, September 18, 2006 at the Watkins Funeral Lyon Funeral Home in Clarksville, VA, with burial following at the Gravel Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, 1662 Carters Point Road, Buffalo Junction, Virginia. A native of Clarksville, VA, Mr. Williamson was the son of the late John Greeley and Lillie Belle Davis Williamson. Mr. Williamson was formerly employed at Sandford Finishing. Surviving are his wife, Phyllis Daniels Williamson; one son, Larry Williamson and wife Joan of Concord, NC; a daughter, Elaine Parker and husband Linwood of East Kingston, NH; a brother, William Lee Williamson and wife Betsy of FL; a sister, Ruth Daniels and husband Johnny of Greensboro. Also surviving are grandchildren, Aimee Kovac, Leslie Lee, and Matthew Parker. Surviving great-grandchildren are Robin Kovac, Christian and Joshua Lee. The family will receive friends form 7:00 to 8:00 PM on Sunday evening at the Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home, 703 Virginia Avenue, Clarksville, Virginia.
