Clarksville, VA - Leroy Williamson, husband of Mary Neal Williamson, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at the age of 84. He was born on September 24, 1933 in Mecklenburg County, VA to the late George and Rosa Mae Wilson Williamson. Leroy was a carpenter and bridge builder by trade. He was a born-again child of God that loved to share fellowship with all of his friends and family. He was a faithful charter member of Bible Baptist Church in South Boston, VA. In addition to his wife, Mr. Williamson is survived by sister Mildred Wilson of Oxford, NC; two special nieces Daphane Campbell and Carol Reece of Oxford, NC; step-granddaughter Pamela Williamson of Durham, NC; sister-in-law Diane Williamson; nephews Eddie (Lori) and Roy (Alicia) Williamson and children of Clarksville, VA. Step-children include Harry Seigla, Jr. (Marian) of Mechanicsville, VA, Alice Russell (Sam) of Randolph, VA, Tim Seigla (Deena) of Wedowee, AL, Joe Seigla (Faye) of Greensboro, NC and step-niece Lorrie Rodriguez of South Boston, VA. He was preceded in death by his first wife Carrie Williamson; step-son Tom Williamson; brother Edward Williamson and sisters Mary Frances Green and Annabelle Propst. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Bible Baptist Church located at 1161 Cluster Springs Road, South Boston, VA with Pastor Chris McGee officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service and invites all in attendance to a homegoing meal following the service. Burial will be private.
