Lewis Blake Glasscock

Lewis Blake Glasscock, age 66, passed away on Monday, November 9, 2020. He was born in Halifax County, VA on September 20, 1954, to the late Rommie Vest "R.V." and Ila Harter Glasscock. Lewis worked as a hardscape construction foreman and site supervisor, doing concrete installations all around southern Virginia and North Carolina.Lewis absolutely loved music and had the best sense of humor. He could make just about anything grow in his garden, and loved to cook. He is survived by his sister, Paige G. Hayes of Rockville, VA; nephew, Jeffrey Scott Hayes of Glen Allen, VA; niece, Meredith E. Lee of Chevy Chase, MD and her two children, Jared and Kyra. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Rommie Lee Glasscock, David Glasscock and Sybil G. Cole. A graveside service will be held at a later date at Gravel Hill Cemetery.
