South Boston, VA Mrs. Lillian Woody Cole, 78, of South Boston, VA passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at her home.She was born on October 22, 1936 in Halifax Co., VA to the late James William Woody, Sr. and the late Annie Smith Woody and was married to the late Grady Talmadge Cole.Mrs. Cole graduated from Halifax County High School and was a clothing inspector with Burlington Industries.She is survived by two sons, Michael Anthony Cole and Mark Randall Cole and wife, Wendy, both of South Boston, VA and five grandchildren, Morgan, Thomas, Kimberly, Blair, and Lauren.Private graveside services will be held at a later date.The family requests that there be no flowers.Those wishing to give memorials are asked to consider a donation to Black Walnut Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, PO Box 20, Cluster Springs, VA 24535; the American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville Ave., Dallas, TX 75231; or the American Cancer Society, PO Box 22718, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, 73123-1718.Online condolences may be made to the Cole family at www.brookslyon.com
