Lillian Reese Newton

Mrs. Lillian Reese Newton, 85, widow of Richard Walter Newton, died Saturday, May 01, 2004 in Oxford, NC. Mrs. Newton was a homemaker and lived her entire life in Bullock. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Marion and Jimmy Moss; and son and daughter-in-law, James ''Jimmy'' and Joan Newton all of Bullock. Five grandchildren and ten great grand-children also survive her. Funeral services will be 11 AM, Monday at Bullock Baptist Church, of which she was a member, with burial in the Royster Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 7-9 PM at Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home in Clarksville, VA. Flowers are acceptable or contributions may be made to the Bullock Fire Department.
