Lillian Hazelwood Snead

Mrs. Lillian Hazelwood Snead of 2027 Mill Road, Clover, VA died Monday, October 1, 2012 at the age of 83. She was born August 10, 1929 to the late Jack Hazelwood and the late Nellie Lacks Hazelwood and was married to Lonnie Gordon Snead. She was a homemaker and farmer, and a member of Clover United Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband; Lonnie Gordon Snead of Clover; sons; Bobby and Susan Snead of Clover, Larry and Wanda Snead of Scottsburg; daughters Brenda and David Conner of Clover and Cathy Snead and Steve Blanks of Buffalo Junction, her sister Lennie H. Snead, and 9 grandchildren; 20 Great Grandchildren; and one expectant Great-Great Grandchild.. She was preceded in death by her parents Jack and Nellie Hazelwood, brothers Noland Hazelwood, Winston Hazelwood, and Bob Hazelwood; sisters Katherine Clay and Peachie Jane Hazelwood. Funeral services for Mrs. Lillian Hazelwood Snead will be held Thursday, October 4, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Brooks Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David Rathel officiating. Burial will follow in Fork Baptist Church Cemetery.
