Lillie Guill Jones

SOUTH BOSTON, VA Mrs. Lillie Guill Jones passed away at her home on Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at the age of 97. She was born in Halifax County on October 6, 1923 to the late Luther and Eunice Allen Guill and was married to the late Luther Briggs Jones. Lillie was a member of Cherry Hill United Methodist Church and was a member of the United Methodist Women with the church. She retired from work with J.P. Stevens in the cloth room. She is survived by a daughter, Linda Cole and husband Charles of Madison Heights, VA; nieces & nephews, Brenda Lowery, Janet Gravitt, Delain Dillow, Ronnie Newbill, Nelson Guill, Donna Estes, Mike Anderson, Joan Spencer, Joann Wilmouth, Jane Shaferman, Bob Duffer, Jeff Jones and caretakers, Cynthia Alexander and NeNe Alexander. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by sisters, Inez Noblin, Elsie White, Peggy Snead, Lucille Guill; and brothers, Hugh Guill, Nelson Guill and Robert Guill. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, November 6, 2020 at Cherry Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery with Reverend Pat Neilsen officiating.
