Lillie Puryear Wiley

Lillie Puryear Wiley of Clarksville, Virginia, died Saturday, May 19, 2012. She was 105. Mrs. Wiley was preceded in death by her parents, Will and Margaret Puryear, her husband, Simon Wiley, her son, James, and two granddaughters, Terry Wiley Bullock and Sandra York McDonald. She is survived by her son, Herbert, of Richmond; daughters, Barbara Jean Lucas, of Midlothian; Betsy and her husband Shelley York, of Thomasville, NC; and Margaret Britt, of Lynchburg. Also surviving are grandsons and their wives, Jay and Mary Lucas, Bill and Sandy Lucas, Chip and Kris Lucas, Kendall and Brenda Wiley, Keith and Sue Wiley, Shell and Catherine York, John and Michelle York; and granddaughter Tiffany Britt Halford and her husband, Greg; great grandchildren, John, Kelly, Will, Ryan, William and Luke Lucas; Cody, Jake, Josh, and Justin Wiley; Ben, Shelley, Savannah and Connor York; and Anna and Catherine Halford. Mrs. Wiley was the longest living member of Clarksville Baptist Church. A memorial service will be held at 1pm Monday in the chapel at Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home with a reception to immediately follow the service. The Reverends Greg Randall and Jane Lyon will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in Mrs. Wiley's name may be sent to Clarksville Baptist Church, P.O.
