Linda Conner

Linda Ann App Conner, 73, of Clarksville, died Saturday, Jan. 5 at Halifax Regional Hospital. Mrs. Conner was born on July 7, 1939 and was the daughter of Grace G. App of Ohio and the late Rev. Donald App. She was married to Walter D. Conner, who survives. Mrs. Conner for years operated Home and Office Supply in Clarksville and was a Certified Floral Designer in North Carolina. In addition to her husband and mother, Mrs. Conner is survived by two sons, W. David Conner II, of South Boston, and Michael Leigh Conner, and his wife Merlita, of Clarksville, a brother, Lynn App and his wife Ruth, of Ohio and sister, Janet Trobridge and her husband Greg, of Maine. Also surviving are four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. The family will receive friends Friday, Jan. 11 at Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home in Clarksville from 7-8:30 p.m.
