Lindsey "Jr" Harold Womack

SCOTTSBURG, VA Lindsey “Jr” Harold Womack, Jr., of Scottsburg, passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at his home at the of 74. Born in Halifax County on February 7, 1943, he was the son of the late Lindsey Harold Womack, Sr. and Sallie Wallace Womack. In addition to his parents, Lindsey was preceded in death by his son, Lindsey H. Womack, III. Lindsey (or Jr. as his friends knew him) was a retired painter. Jr is survived by his son, Robert A. Womack of South Boston; his grandchildren, Robert James “RJ” and Renee Lynn Womack of South Boston; and his special friend, Helen Watts also survives. The family is receiving friends at his home, 5201 James D. Hagood Hwy., Scottsburg, VA. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
