Oxford, NC On Sunday, February 11, 2018, the Lord called His child, Lisa Beth Keeton Adcock, to her eternal home. Lisa was preceded in death by her husband, James Vernon Adcock. She was born in Oxford, NC on June 20, 1970. She was a graduate of Vance Senior High Class of 1988 and received her degree in Cosmetology from Vance Granville Community College. In addition to her work as a beautician, she worked at Chex Truck World and at the Henderson Daily Dispatch. She will be remembered as a lovely woman with a fondness for flowers and being outdoors. Lisa was a member of Marrows Chapel United Methodist Church. Lisa Adcock is survived by her mother, Ann Ruffin Skipwith of Oxford; father, Peter Keeton also of Oxford; daughter Kinsey Marie Adcock of Roxboro; son Jacob Lee Adcock of Oxford; significant other, Mike Ayscue; grandchildren James Lee Adcock (Jayce), Jayden Christopher Michael Adcock and Keeton Paige “KeKe” Adcock; Mike’s children Kimberly Ayscue Reams and Michael Kevin Ayscue II; Mike’s grandchildren Haley Boone, Dennis Boone, Jr., Michael Ayscue III and Tyler Dellinger; sisters, Edith Inez Keeton of Oxford, Jeanie K. Shelby of Clarksville, and Carrie Lynn Keeton of Timberlake, NC; brother, Marvin “Marty” Keeton of Oxford; step mother Tina Keeton of Oxford and mother-in-law Donna Adcock of Henderson. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, February 14, in the chapel at Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home, 703 Virginia Avenue, Clarksville, VA with the Reverend John Yount officiating. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service. Burial will follow at Marrow’s Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery. A benefit fundraiser will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Williamson’s Grocery in Bullock, NC.
