Lizzie Snead Clack

Lizzie Snead Clack, of Virgilina, VA, widow of Robert T. Clack, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 5, 2015.Lizzie was born on September 23, 1920 to the late Robert M. Snead and Mary Wilkerson Snead.She was a member of Nelson Baptist Church and worked as a textiles weaver at Burlington Industries for many years before retiring.Lizzie is survived by her three granddaughters and grandsons-in-law, Juanita and Bob Williams, Sharon and Jamie Hamlett, Teresa and Jimmy Morris.She is also survived by her seven great grandchildren and grandchildren-in-law, Angela Williams, Kirby Williams, Jessica Williams, John Hamlett, Jason and Caitlin Hamlett, Nikki and Charlie Womack, Chris Morris and her four great great grandchildren, Kayla Womack, Hunter Womack, Riley Morris and John Reel.Lizzie was preceded in death by her son Garland Clack and her daughter Aliene Clack Humphries.The funeral service will take place at Nelson Baptist Church on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at 2:00 pm.Visitation will be held at the church one hour prior to the service.
