Lois Carlton Glasscock

Lois Carlton Glasscock, wife of the late Benjamin "Inky" Glasscock, passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 2024.  She was born in Mecklenburg County on December 28, 1929 to the late William Robert and Mary Coleman Carlton.

She was preceded in death by her son, Ricky Franklin Glasscock, Sr; daughter Vikki G. Eggleston; sisters, Mary Lee Carlton, Lorene Lessing, Vivian Moss and Betty Hines; brothers, Robert E. Carlton & William Billy Carlton.

Lois was a graduate of Boydton High School and member of Boydton Methodist Church.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Dean & Diane Glasscock of Middlesex, NC; grandchildren, Ricky Glasscock, Jr, Beth Ward (Chuck), Melissa Bateman (John) all of Midlothian, Christi Ficklin (Brandon) of Clayton, NC, and Michael Glasscock of Charlotte, NC; great grandchildren, Emily & Leigha Glasscock, Chase Ward, Noah & Luke Bateman, Colby & Camden Ficklin, Lainey Glasscock and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers please donate to your charity of choice.

Lois' family will hold a Memorial Service for her on Saturday, September 28, 2024 at 2:00PM in the Watkins Cooper Lyon Chapel with Visitation one hour prior.  Her interment will follow at Eternity Mausoleum in Oakhurst Cemetery in Clarksville, VA.
